How did our family adventure begin? Before I met Krakonoš (the Giant), I worked from morning to evening for a company in Brno, Czech Republic where I was responsibile for domestic trade and international marketing.

Taste real Krkonoše Mountain Fries beer
We brew Fries beer from fresh mountain spring water tapped on our land just above the hotel. Our beer has won the Original Krkonoše Product award and is simply excellent! It is brewed by Jan Králík under the expert guidance of Richard Vetyška. The brewery is part of the Krkonoše Mountain Beer Trail, which is a great idea for a trip and not only for beer lovers. Of course, you can also try other beers as well, such as Vrchlabí beer Hendrych or the "dangerous" Medvěda (which means bear in Czech) beer. After hiking up the hill you can quench your thirst with Trautenberk beer or Sněžka beer (named after the Czech Republic’s highest peak).
Restaurant - energy and taste for extraordinary experiences
With food so tasty in our restaurant, which can hold up to 90 guests, it will be hard to put your fork down. We specialize mainly in Czech cuisine. Our Fries beer goes well with almost all dishes - that's what the Giant himself would tell you. Children will also be in good hands, because you won't get a better ice cream sundae in a 20km vicinity! Highchairs are of course available for the little ones.
When you need a little rest after the hike, you can enjoy the views of the Krkonoše Mountains from our relax club, which is directly adjacent to the restaurant. In summer, the views on the terrace will take your breath away. Delicious coffee, a delicious dessert and all from the comfort of a sofa with friendly service – this is what Friesovy boudy is all about!
Relaxation and rest not only in the whirlpool
There are very few places where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Krkonoše mountains, as you can directly in our hotel wellness spa. Allow your body to relax after a challenging hike in the hot tub, Finnish sauna, steam bath or swimming pool. You don't have to pack anything with you! You will have a wellness package with a bathrobe, bath towel and slippers ready for you in your room.
- The sauna and steam room are in a relax zone, where you can store things by the front door. You can also borrow sheets there.
- The sauna and steam capacity are limited, so it is necessary to book in advance.
